Its purpose is to acquire, develop and manage affordable housing for elderly and disabled individuals who are able to live independently with some community support. Coalition meetings are held every other month at the Mt. Kisco Presbyterian Church on the 2"d Monday at 7:30 P .M. representatives are elected from the local coalition of churches, synagogues and other community organizations. Anyone may be a member who can give of their time or make a monetary contribution. A-Home presently has seven properties and manages an eighth. They are located in Katonah, Bedford Hills, Mt. Kisco, Chappaqua, Vista, and Thornwood. The group is always in search of additional properties so they may provide more housing for individuals and single parent households.
