Furthering Katonah's strong community spirit is the dedicated goal of the Chamber of Commerce. When the warm weather approaches, the members hold their annual golf outing to raise scholarship funds for local high school graduates. September brings the annual "Sales Days", and October welcomes ghosts and goblins to the downtown area for a colorful Halloween Parade. With the approach of the Holiday Season, Santa comes to town, and the Chamber also sponsors the Community Tree lighting Ceremony. This vital business organization services the needs of both residents and visitors to the area. The General Member meeting is held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month in various locations. These meetings are announced in their newsletter and the local newspaper. All that is required for membership is an interest in the town and business community of Katonah.
