The Mt. Kisco Concert Association was founded in 1968 by a group of area residents who wanted to offer the community high quality programs in both music and dance. Whenever possible the guest artists are invited to do Workshops and Master Classes at both Bedford Central Middle School and High School. The concert association also assists with the Fox Lane Emerging Artists Program and sponsors a free Children's Concert each year. This group has presented many now world-renowned artists when they were just beginning their careers including Garrich Ohlsson,Lynn Harrell, and the Alvin Ailey Dance Companies. Other well-established performers have included the Beux Arts Trio, Paula Robison and Jaime Laredo. These concerts are held at the Fox Lane High School and are advertised in the local newspapers. MKCA is a non-profit group with a volunteer board of directors. Any interested person is welcome to inquire about Board or Off-Board service opportunities.
