A group of local sportsmen were the founders of this group in 1945. They wanted to further their interest in the outdoors, conservation, hunting and fishing. The only requirement for membership in this club is that you be a United States citizen. The Sportsmen's Club meets at the Katonah Memorial House on Bedford Rd. in Katonah on the 3rd Tuesday of each month except in July and August. Their current projects and future goals include: 1) Stream improvement and wildlife preservation, 2) Educating youth in outdoor sports and conservation 3) Promoting wise use of our natural resources.
