Bedford is 48 miles north of New York City, and 14 miles north of White Plains. It can be reached by the Saw Mill River Parkway and Interstate 684. It is also served by the Harlem Division of the Metro North Railroad. Westchester County Airport in White Plains offers flights to cities such as Boston, Washington DC, Detroit, Chicago, Minneapolis and other destinations.
The Bedford Hills and Katonah Train stations are served by Metro North with service to and from New York's Grand Central Station on approximately one-hour intervals with stops in White Plains.
