Bedford is 45 miles north of New York City, and 14 miles north of White Plains. It can be reached by the Saw Mill River Parkway and Interstate 684. It is also served by the Harlem Division of the Metro North Railroad. SeeTrain Schedule Below. In addition, in White Plains, the Westchester County Airport offers flights cities such as Boston, Washington DC, Detroit, Chicago, Minneapolis and other destinations.

Train Schedule

Train travel on Metro North between Bedford and New York City takes approximately one hour. Following is a departure schedule for trains from Bedford Hills to New York City, and from New York City to Bedford Hills. Brackets [...] enclose peak hour trains. Express trains with an "x" do not stop in White Plains. All trains that stop in Bedford Hills also stop in Mount Kisco (4 minutes closer to New York) and Katonah (4 minutes more distant).

The following is offered for general guidance about trains schedules, but note that actual schedules are changed slightly every six months.
